Cookies Italian Anise Cookies
Italian Anise Cookies
Ingredients: 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon anise seed (rolled fine)
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
Directions:
Sift flour with baking powder, salt, and anise seed. Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored and add sugar gradually. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Drop from teaspoon on greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350°F.) 8 to 10 minutes.
