Fondue Garlic Pork Nuggets
Garlic Pork Nuggets
Ingredients: 5 pounds lean pork
1 tablespoon salt
Freshly ground pepper
3 cloves garlic, pureed
Directions:
Eat these crispy chunks of pork as they are, or dip them in a bowl of taco sauce. Pork shoulder is an especially good cut to use for this dish. This is an easy appetizer to prepare for a crowd, so it is given here in party proportions.
Cut pork into 1-inch cubes; mix thoroughly with salt, pepper, and garlic. Spread in layers in shallow baking pans; bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 1 hour. Stir occasionally and drain off fat accumulations.
When serving, reheat about a pound at a time in the chafing dish over moderately high heat, or reheat in the oven. Serve from chafing dish. Makes enough to serve about 50 people.
