Fondue Butterscotch Fondue
Butterscotch Fondue
Ingredients: 1 cup (1/2 pint) whipping cream
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 or 3 tablespoons rum, or to taste
(optional)
Directions:
In a small saucepan blend whipping cream and brown sugar. Stirring, bring to a full, vigorously foaming boil and cook about 30 seconds.
Pour into dessert fondue pot or other small dish and add rum to taste, if desired. Keep warm over very low heat. Makes about 1 cup sauce.
