Fondue Sauce tartare
Sauce tartare
Ingredients: 1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon chopped tarragon
1/2 cup fine chopped gherkins
1 teaspoon chopped chervil
or mild dill pickles
2 chopped green olives
1/4 cup capers, chopped fine
Pinch dry mustard
2 hard-cooked eggs, sieved
Dash cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon chopped chives
Wine vinegar
Directions:
In medium mixing bowl, blend all ingredients except vinegar; then add that slowly until right degree of tartness is achieved, blending well.
