Fondue

Banana split fondue ( Hot Chocolate Sauce )

Ingredients:
9 squares sweet chocolate,
or 3 8-inch bars, broken
up
1/2 cup heavy cream
Strawberry preserves Vanilla ice cream, soft
Pineapple preserves One banana for each person,
Whipped cream in 1-inch thick rounds,
Chopped nuts sprinkled with lemon juice

Directions:
On a large serving platter or palette, place strawberry and pineapple preserves, whipped cream, nuts and in center, the ice cream.
Serve each person with a sliced banana and fondue fork and spoon. Dip slices first into Hot Chocolate Sauce, then hold over pot until dripping stops. Now spoon preserves, ice cream, whipped cream and nuts over chocolate banana slice on individual plate.
