Fondue Mandarin Oranges Flambe
Mandarin Oranges Flambe
Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup honey
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
Scant 2 cups miniature
marshmallows (or 12
regular marshmallows)
Directions:
This combination goes together quite simply . . . with splendid results.
Place mandarin oranges with their syrup in a chafing dish. Add brown sugar and cinnamon. Bring to the table with the liqueur in a small, long-handled pan.
Place oranges over flame, and when they are warm, heat the liqueur, ignite, and slowly pour over oranges, stir until flames die. Serve in long-stemmed glasses. Makes 2 to 4 servings.
