Ingredients: 1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
3 Tbs. sugar
1 tsp. cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried dill weed or 2 to 3 tsp. snipped
fresh fresh-ground pepper to taste
Directions: Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl until they are completely blended. Do not beat with a whisk, as this will cause the sour cream to become quite foamy.
Be sure that your salad greens are patted dry and have no moisture clinging to them before putting on this dressing. Use the Sour Cream Dressing by itself, or, for another delicious salad, toss the salad with a few tablespoons of olive oil first, then add some Sour Cream Dressing and toss again.
Makes about1.1/2 cups.
Serve this dressing with Cold Omelet Salad ,with cold cooked vegetables, or combine it with more mayonnaise and serve it on tossed
