Ingredients: ½ lb. flounder or whiting filet,
1/2 tsp. ginger root, minced minced
1/4 lb. lean pork, finely ground
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sherry
2 scallions, white part only, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 small clove garlic, crushed
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp. cornstarch
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
Directions: Mix all ingredients except broth and water. Blend well and form into small balls. Bring broth and water to a boil, drop the balls gently into the simmering liquid and cook covered for 15 minutes.
