Ingredients: 1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 teaspoon dry ginger
1 cup soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Stalks of 5 green onions, chopped
1 young fryer (about 3 pounds)
1 large clove garlic, minced
Steamed rice
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black
pepper
Directions: Combine all ingredients to make a sauce. Cut up chicken into serving pieces and marinate in the sauce from 1 to 3 hours. Turn the chicken several times so that all parts are thoroughly seasoned. Place chicken in shallow roasting pan. Pour over the sauce. Broil under moderate heat about 10 minutes on each side or until browned. Baste several times with the sauce in the pan while broiling. Serve with steamed rice. Serves 4.
